Wellness Links

These links are personal and a reflection of what I look to for health and wellness. Each individual is unique and needs different things for fulfillment and to be well. These are simply recommendations that I have found helpful in my life...it is meant to encourage you to seek out what is best for your well being.  As a massage practitioner, my hope for all is good health. Obviously, I believe massage is an important part of maintaining health, but I also believe in other approaches and therapies. Below I've shared what  some of those are for me....

Yoga

www.yogajournal.com  - Yoga helps balance the business of life with our core beings.  I practice it regularly for flexibility, strength and meditation. I truly believe it nurtures the soul. If you're curious about yoga, you can read about it here and explore ways to add it into your life.

Nutrition

www.michaelpollan.comIf you want to improve your knowledge about food and diet, this is one of the authors to read.  He will change the way you look at food and shop for the better.

If you are concerned about nutrition, talk to your doctor or nutritionist to help create a plan for you! Every body is different. It's a daily challenge to keep your body, mind, and soul balanced and we all need support and ways to continue to learn. Seek out what helps you thrive.
